Ellicott Small Animal Hospital- the App

The Ellicott Small Animal Hospital on Ellicott Street in downtown Buffalo now has a pretty cool app. This is the ultimate client engagement platform, proven to increase client loyalty and practice revenue for veterinarians. It is built on the Vet 2 Pet platform which was built by veterinarians for veterinarians.

For pet owners, this obviously has a lot of value as it streamlines the communication between Ellicott Small Animal Hospital and their large base of clients by making it easier to CONNECT
with them. The app also offers a loyalty rewards program.

Here are some of the app’s other cool features, functions, and benefits for pet owners.

From the main screen, you can call or message Ellicott directly or the after-hours emergency clinicthey are affiliated with, as well as get their hours and directions.

When selecting the menu pull-down, you are directed to a slide show of hundreds of pet selfies that are seen there. Ellicott, in general, is continually coming up with innovative ways to engage their clients. “send us a Selfie of your pet!”

At a glance, you can click on the “your pets” link to upload a photo of your pet, view their necessary information (including current vaccinations), and click on a link to request additional records. Although it says that it will take up to 2 days, we had our records emailed to us within less than one hour.  This also includes a Vaccination certificate signed by the veterinarian.

You can also check upcoming appointments, make appointments, receive notifications, order Food and Prescriptions, and receive Loyalty Stamps.

The app also links to a Pet Health Library… by species integrated with content from VIN.

If your pet goes to Ellicott, you are going to want to download this app. It's free!
